Q: “Rachelle! Recent subscriber—we met at Substack Bestsellers a few weeks back. I'll note [questions] here for now in hopes of getting some in queue:

  • Do you have an opinion on L-Glutamine? I know it's not an herb but...

  • Anything you recommend for joint health, especially for highly active folks (runners, etc.)

  • Have you tried seed cycling? (again, not herb-specific; let me know if there are q you don't field)

A: Hi hi! Thanks for your questions! I’m going to tackle all three here. :) Firstly, L-glutamine: I love this amino acid. (Aside: I tend to love amino acid supplements in general. They’re easy to dose, have a wide therapeutic range, and are really effective for people. I use L-theanine and tryptophan every day and have for years, for example.)
