Today’s question:
Q: “I have a question that I would appreciate if you touch on in your Substack or wherever you wish: blood sugar and hormones especially how to balance blood sugar based on menstrual cycle. Can there be a supportive supplement that can be used during PMS and menstrual cycle to balance the hormones that would help keep the blood sugar balanced?”
A: Balancing blood sugar throughout the menstrual cycle is essential for hormone harmony, energy stability, and overall well-being. Shifts in estrogen, progesterone, and insulin sensitivity can make blood sugar fluctuations more pronounced, particularly in the luteal phase (the two weeks before menstruation) when cravings, mood swings, and energy dips are common. And, I have a tried-and-true approach for treating this!
