Like most routines in my life, this one is always evolving. That’s actually central to my relationship with habits: what remains constant is my commitment to healthy ones; what changes are the ingredients—usually slowly and over time. Because: When the facts change, we need to change our minds; we are never the same; nor is life; rigidity resembles inflexibility which is when we’re liable to break. Those of you who’ve worked with me directly, or been paying close attention know that I like to break habits (and rules, conventions, constraints, limits, stuck-ness).

We also know that exercise is especially beneficial when it’s varied, so I keep my routine moving. What stays the same is that I move every single day.
