As mentioned last week, we’re going to do something a bit different this time. Rather than a live show on 1/26, you’ll receive an audio episode in your inbox at the usual time.
Per always, I’ll answer your questions and share what’s on my mind and radar. It will be a deep-diving into herbalism, holistic health, and the art of functional nature — and this new format should make it an even more enjoyable, educational, and elevated experience for you.
You can continue to submit questions each month, and the archive of recordings will be available to subscribers.

Hi Rachelle! I would love to hear your take on alkalinity and pH balance within the body. Many holistic specialists and practitioners seem to tout the idea of consuming alkaline foods and alkaline water for improved balance within the body. However, I often hear typical Western medicine practitioners (including RDs) argue that it is impossible to change the pH balance within the body just by drinking water or food, because it “doesn’t change that easily.” It is often difficult to know what is true—in many aspects of the “wellness world”—when experts on all sides seem divided. What do you think? I would be grateful for your perspective, as I think of you as my teacher whom I’ve never met before haha. Thanks in advance!
