Where to begin! I first met Ruby in the earliest days of the burgeoning wellness boom, which began in niche-y, crystal-stocked cafes and among individuals who identified each other by early-adopted lifestyle choices such as sobriety, veganism, a meditation practice, or witch-ish tendencies. We crossed paths at events and in the digital sphere as the movement took off and as everyone’s progressed, Ruby’s was one I always admired. From her founding The Numinous, to publishing books that were always perfectly timed with the zeitgeist (Sober Curious! Women Without Kids! and more), Ruby continues to be both deeply in touch with herself, and those seeking the same. In our most recent conversation, we discussed the debatability of the value of feeding the content machine versus the certain value of spending that time creating art instead.
I hope you enjoy learning more about, and from Ruby. I certainly have!
